Well Zeus was very proud of his accomplishments today. I come in from work and there he was all  of what he had been doing. You guessed it! He had been under the tree and found a bag with tissue paper there that thought it had his name on it. Needless to say it wasn`t his and after much searching I was very glad to have found the duck call device. Other wise we might would have been getting a few quacks here and there either by voice or by poots :bigsad:

The motto of this story is...everytime I go grocery shopping, Zeus gets to look through the bags to find his new toy. Guess he can`t distinguish between a Christmas bag and the wal-mart kind :dunno:

new_rofl.gif Zeus buddy, it says Walmart right on it! The Christmas ones are the red and green ones with the reindeer.

It would have been funny if he had gotten a hold of the duck call! A very strange bark indeed.

Well that does it for me...We were wondering how we were going to handle Christmas presents with a Boomer. I think we'll just put the presents under the tree on Christmas eve...and keep them hidden otherwise. He's just too much of a baby to leave such tempting treats around. I'm anticipating that the tree might come down at some point too...I'll just be sure to not put on the breakables this year. I can already picture the "I don't know what happened mum" face, with a tree and presents lying all around him. innocent.gif

I've been extremely lucky with Chipper and Poppins. Our tree has been up since Thanksgiving weekend with presents piled under it since then as well. I fully expected Chipper and Poppins to AT LEAST be interested in the tree, maybe steal an ornament or two but both have totally ignored all Christmas presents and decorations (even the yard decorations!). It seems pretty lights and brightly colored wrapping paper just aren't their thing...they're *still* amazed with my house plants. BangHead.gif I dozed off on the couch a few evenings ago only to find, when I woke up, potting soil everywhere and my fave plant in several pieces on the kitchen floor with Chipper laying on his blanket chewing the roots off the main piece!! tantrum2.gif I replanted the main piece and so far it's not wilted...fingers crossed the poor thing continues to pull thru.

John was the present theif here. He KNEW what pressies were his and there wasn't a Christmas that he didn't find them & unwrap them....several times. new_rofl.gif

I couldn't get in the house without him knowing I had toys or treats. How did he KNOW??? :dunno:

How I wish he was here to unwrap his gifts this year.

Ever since Gomer the Springer christened all the pressies one year long ago, we wait until Christmas Eve to put the presents under the tree. yes.gif

Tucker was our pressie fool. He was always sure that everything was for him, and he was very determined to take all the gifts away from you and open them himself. new_rofl.gif
