Full Version: Tracks in the Snow

We've had just a few inches of snow on the ground for several days so I can see lots of boxer tracks! One set stays fairly close to mine and is evenly spaced with only a few deviations in direction & length. yes.gif

The other set is EVERYWHERE! The tracks usually have LONG spaces between pawprints and at other times have long sliding strips. They go in every direction and in circles, stopping in various locations like ground hog holes, interesting weeds, trees, leaves, squirrel digs & deer poop. confused.gif

Sometimes both sets converge in a real mess of tracks and both boxers end up with snow on their backs. new_rofl.gif

Can you guess who makes which tracks? ask.gif ROTFLMAO.gif

Gotta luv them boxers! w00t.gif

And where are the pics of them enjoying the snow??? :dunno: We went from nice weather to bitter cold, so this Gypsy girl isn't too excited about having her nubbin out in the cold for too long - even to play in the snow.

I figure its the cats fault new_rofl.gif

Well, this is my guess. I guess that beautiful, stately Schuller is content to stay by his Mom's side as he has seen that world and is much happier right where he is. wub.gif And young Gypsy, living true to her name, is off inspecting everything and loving every minute. Of course, being Boxers, there has to be a tussle now and then when there are two, even if it means landing flat on your back in the snow. :snow: Such is their wonderful little world. I am just thankful that my two let me share. heart.gif

Great story Karen-LOL

My bet's on Callie too Joe ROTFLMAO.gif

Karen, there's just WAY too much for a young boxer girl to discover, gotta make tracks!

Karen, if mine are any indication of how yours would act, it would be the boy by my side and the girl going in every direction, sniffing and exploring!! wub.gif

Yep, you gotta love 'em!!

Snow ghosts . I have to agree with Bev. Gypsy is the roaming one and Schuller is by Mom's side but not for long. We have about 23 or more centimeters on the way today, its been like -23 with the wind chill here, no one wants to walk outside and I don't blame them. Cute story.

Glad those cuties are having fun in the snow! I'll put my money on "Gypsy" being a gypsy and roaming around.

I love how all of our dogless neighbors have pristine white snow in their yard and mine always looks like it's been plowed by a drunk guy with a handshovel.

I could never figure out though, how Willis managed to miss the spot between the top of the hill and the deck... turns out, he just jumps from the hill to the deck in a single bound. A good 5-6 ft!

Great description! new_rofl.gif

I'm betting that Gypsy has the wanderlust, and sweet Schu stays close to his mommy. smile.gif
