Oobie-mum
Just wondering what everyone has got planned for their furbabies this year for xmas - for those who have babies that haven't OPENED thier presents already ROTFLMAO.gif

We can't afford much this year so Oobie is getting a super long lasting toy for her bday (glow in the dark dumbell that squeaks) and we have spent a little extra on a dog rug for her to sit on in her new car -its the hammock style and looks a bit like this but made from a different material. We thought about getting just a normal pet seat protector, but realised that wouldn't protect the back of the front seats from her hair (and our new interior is black) - last time she rode in it, with a sheet down - the inside of the car still turned brindle.
Its water proof and has a new design that the pet shop owner was even impressed with as he has the older version !!

I feel bad that she won't get as many toys as last year - but thats how its going to have to happen, and I am sure her nanny and poppy will make sure there is something in her stocking when we go down there for xmas.

I have to say that I'm honestly not sure what I'm getting Toffee this year... maybe a trip to Calgary over the summer to play with Willis...

She has well over 100 toys...toys in Michigan and in Philadelphia. She has nice cushy dog beds at both of her homes (more than one at each). My friends here keep mistaking her one bed for a beanbag chair new_rofl.gif She has coats at both homes, and a raincoat at her Philly home (where she has to go on actual walks and cannot just run outside). She's very spoiled wub.gif What more could a girl want?
LailaB
We're just getting Laila a new indestructable chew toy and a new frisbee.
We were at a really cute (yet somewhat expensive) pet store on the weekend in a small town and got her a pendant for her collar. It's shaped like a bone with pink rhinestones all over it.
Cindy/Copper Hill
I've already laid in a supply of special treats for Christmas day, but we don't do "pressies" so to speak. Had a few fights break out on Christmas morn years ago, so we ditched that tradition. wink.gif

I'm just happy to say that the 5' tall singing, dancing Santa that hubs brought home has been accepted by the pack and still has all his bits and parts. laugh.gif Caught Hope kidney-beaning and sucking up to it, no doubt telling Santa what a good girl she's been... new_rofl.gif

Willis already got a set of travel bowls and a food bag for when we go on road trips. That's about all he's getting because he owes me $500 worth of shoes and dusters. I am sure my parents will spoil him rotten as he is staying with them. We already had a preview of it the other night when we went over there for dinner and Willis got more roast chicken than I did.

Still, it's better than last year... for his first holiday with us he got neutered for Christmas! new_rofl.gif

Andrea... Willis is VERY excited about the prospect of seeing Toffee!

I forgot that Willis also got $50 boots and I only have one pair of shoes left.... confused.gif
Bulldog
Gina has a new tracking harness, a sqeaky toy, rope tug toy, reindeer with rope legs, 2 seedpod balls. The little blighter already helped herself to the reindeer with rope legs.

How is it that they just know what is meant for them?
FarleyBoxer
We have not bought Farley's pressies yet but whatever they are they will be from the discount bin, as plush toys last about 5 minutes with him. The only things he cannot destroy are the very boring hard rubber-type toys, so festive toys must be *very* cheap.

And if anyone has seen one of these you must get one for Christmas. They are an absolute doggie narcotic. A bit expensive, and Farley did destroy it after a few days, but while they are alive they truly mesmerize. A real multi-tasker, since they are for throwing and squeaking.
Shirley
Since I have it on good authority that Rafe is getting a special toy or two and because he tells me he is ALWAYS hungry, I decided to get him all treats - chicken strips and lamb and rice strips. They are in his stocking WAY up high hanging from the curtain rod wink.gif
