My 5 month old baby Jasmine just graduated from her puppy class last night!! graduate.jpg I 'm so proud of her. clappy.gif It was so much fun. One of my good friends was in the class with her beagle pup and we had a great time. My trainer is the best. I don't know what to do now! I guess I just have to keep going with the stuff we've learned and do it at home. I think we're going to take a puppy agility class in January and that'll be good to keep Jasmine focused, and burn up all her energy! And fun for mom too smile.gif

Congratulations to the graduate woohoo.gif

Puppy agility will be fun, but why not sign up for the next basic obedience class too? There's tons more for Jasmine to learn and it sounds like both of you had fun in the puppy class.

Any thought on going on to the CGC Program?

Well done Jasmine clappy.gif

Well done to both of you (and your beagley friend too). Keep up the good work and yes why not sign up for more advanced classes. It's great to see more Boxers in obedience (the GSD and border collie people hate it) wink.gif

In my city there is an organization called Citizen Canine and they offer a canine good neighbor certificate program which I'll put Jasmine through one day. We need to work a bit more first! I'm really excited about the puppy agility. Does anyone here have their boxies in agility? I'd love to hear about it.

I dabble in agility heart.gif I just love it, but then again, I just enjoy doing things with my dogs. OK, and I like ribbons, too...Agility is just like every other dog sport - on the outside looking in, you are watching a dog doing 'stuff' - in Obedience, you are watching heeling, retreiving, recalls, etc., and in agility you are watching a dog do weave poles, jumps, tunnels, Aframes, etc.

But when it's your dog, what you feel is a sense of togetherness that really has nothing to do with any of that. All you feel is a sense of teamwork.

I think that each of us finds that sense of teamwork in different ways. And the ribbons are nice, too bannana.gif
