Carol
Some time back (about 3 months) we were really battling for money .. and i just couldnt afford the better dog food .. so for a month we bought a cheaper one made tastier by the addition of gravy .. cos my two dears wouldnt touch the cheaper food .... anyhow they were quite happy to eat the cheaper food with the gravy .....

at the end of that month our money situation improved and we could once again get the better food .. which they ate with relish the first night ... and after that wouldnt touch it ...so of course their genuis mommy puts gravy on it whistling.gif hahhahahh that was the beginning of the end .... for the last 3 months i have had a daily battle to get them to eat their food ... that had become "fussy" in this heat of course one cannot keep dog pellets that have gravy and leftovers mixed in .one has to throw it away .. and after throwing away a fortune in dog food I decied enough is enough these two arent going to dictate their dinner to me anymore .... I said to hubs in future they have plain pellets ..... if there are leftovers they can have them in a separate bowl after they have eaten their proper dinner and thats the end of it!!!!! It worked after two days of a starvation diet they are now eating properly ...

Aparrt from the food wastage when they are being so food picky I have no way of knowing if they are getting sick which is why they arent eating ... buggers !!!!!

I often wonder who is the boss ???

Way to go Carol! clappy.gif Way to show them who the boss is! We try and try to tell owners that their pets will not starve. If they get hungry enough they will eat. Most of the time it is owners switching fat chihuahuas, minpins, beagles etc to w/d etc. and they can't handle it. Really it is way more upsetting to the owners than the pets! ROTFLMAO.gif Hope they keep eating for you.
