Full Version: Another warm day...

I do like my winters so I've not been too happy about this overly warm weather we've been having. But, instead of sitting around complaining about the lack of snow, today I decided I'd try to make the best of it and enjoy the 65° temps. So I went out to watch the dogs play (that alone always brightens my day) and attempt to get some action shots, unfortunately all came out extra blury. bigangry.gif Before coming in, I grabbed the pups to get a little stacking practice in...Taia snapped a decent photo of Chipper attempting to set himself up...

Wasn't too long after I came in I guess the dogs went a little over board with their excitement...with the warmer temps and screaming, running kids I guess they just couldn't contain themselves. After pouncing off the kids one too man times, the dogs all got in trouble and were made to come inside. Here's Chipper and Poppins wanting back out...

Even though they got a little carried away while out playing, I must brag a bit on both the pups. We haven't did any ob training for a couple months so when I got them out after dinner, I figured I'd basically be starting over at square one. Much to my surprise, Poppins was better this evening than she's ever been! Chipper was a bit rusty, mainly just not quite as sure of himself as before, but still far better than I was expecting. smile.gif

I don't understand that sentence... is that english??? :dunno: ROTFLMAO.gif

Your kids are gorgeous as always wub.gif
Oobie-mum
They are gorgeous as always - and looking so tall smile.gif

What kind of camera are you using - digital? Sounds like the kids are just running WAY too fast for the dig to capture them !!
I've taken a few with Oobie doing her full boxer burn and the shutter just isn't quick enough to get her freeze framed - some parts are always blurry !

Your calling 65 degrees warm..laugh.gif We call it cool..grabing our jackets...turn the heater on type weather. But I do remember a time when 65 was warm for this time of year.

Oh BTW ..your babies are beautiful ...very nice.
Lenore
Alisha, I'm wanting some snow, too!!

Chipper and Poppins are looking totally gorgeous, as usual. wub.gif wub.gif

Thanks for the compliments on the dogs. smile.gif They're growing up so fast, won't be long and the puppy look will be totally gone. sad.gif

I like all the seasons (autumn being my fave!) and what ever season it is, I want it to feel and look like that season. It's January dang it, give me my snow (not to mention there's only a few months out of the year we really get snow, we're missing them!)!! A few summers ago I was ticked because it wasn't hot enough and too windy for a few weeks...was making me miss out on my swimming time!! laugh.gif

It's an older Canon (pro shot G1 or something like that). It normally takes great action shots...

...but for some reason it's been sucking here lately. I couldn't figure out what was different until last night, I've been trying to save my battery (always forget to recharge) so haven't been using the LCD screen. I think the problem is I'm trying to keep a speeding dog in the camera while looking thru a tiny hole, my guess is I'm moving the camera too much (I've even had some of my still shots come out blurry). I would try again this evening but nooooo, it's pouring down rain today! If the temps were where they should be, it'd be snowing!! bigangry.gif
