They havent met little sooty( rescue , orphan kitty) on their home turf yet , cos little sooty is moving in slowly on HER terms .. typical cat!!
They have looked at each other through the fence and every time the dogs have seen her we have been there to tell them what good doggies they are for not chasing etc etc .. Little sooty hasnt shown much concern.
This afternoon I see miki looking with great interest at the flower beds .... i call to hubs please have a looksee .. and there is sooty hiding in the flowers , he sits next to miks and so they get to sniff each other.... miki is back inside out of the heat and soots is asleep stretched out under a tree.
Maybe miks knows she is an orphan baby ?? I dunno but she was so sweet .
Apperently the previous occupant of this house was thrown off the property because he worked so badly , mistreated his children and animals .. we where at a welcome barbeque last nite and i was told that the SPCA /police had to be called in often , this slimeball had left his two dogs behind as well , but by the time it was noticed they were found dead in the road
I have contacted our rescue and at the end of the month I will take soots to them , she will be vacinated , checked up and what not and once her babes are born she will be spayed for a small fee
In the meantime I have got her some worm meds and a general pick me up tablet to give her an appetite . Depending on the amount of babies I will either keep them or find them good homes.Imagine mad madge with buddies ..............eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeek
