One of my Christmas presents was money set aside for a new puppy! I called our Breeder, Misty Meadows Farm and found out there where planning on breeding there female soon and puppies would be here in March, for delivery in June. We where put on a waiting list. Claudette called this week because a person who bought one of here females had a littler and was overwelmed with the ordeal. She had 3 puppies that where 16 weeks old, and they where kept in kenneles all there life. One of the clause was this person had to contact Misty Meadows if surrendering any dogs.
Claudette immediately bought back the pups and gave us a call to say she had 3 pups, 2 females and a male. When we went there today “just to look” she had her brood, most of the ones on the web site.
It did not take long for the dogs to know who we where, being constantly mobbed by Duchess, Sadie, Bailey & Carly. We met with Mia, that was the name Claudette gave her because the person who originally had them did not name them.
Immediately we called her P.J., Puckers Jr., and she is Puckers great niece.
She is all dark Brindle except white toes, small patch on her chest and chin. We brought her home just a bit ago and Nueshler and Ollie are welcoming their new sister. Its funny, P.J. has already taken toys from Ollie, then laid on them, not to play with them, but keeping the boys from playing also, Just like Puckers used to do. I think our house has a new Queen! Pics will follow, just filled up my cameras memory twice in the first hour of having her! Rob
